Craig Marcus
Founder & Audio Engineer
Craig Marcus, founder and president of ChocoFacto, brings more than three decades of professional audio engineering experience to the company. After graduating from the Institute of Audio Research, he began his career in New York City's recording industry, working in some of Manhattan's most respected studios, including the legendary D&D Studios.
During this time, Craig collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Madonna, Queen Latifah, and Lou Reed, while also working alongside influential producers including Junior Vasquez, Todd Terry, and Little Louie Vega. These experiences helped shape his technical expertise and deep understanding of music production at the highest professional level. See extensive list of artists.
Building on his success in the recording industry, Craig transitioned into the corporate media sector, where he held senior audio engineering positions with Pearson Education, Simon & Schuster, and Times Mirror Multimedia. As Chief Recording Engineer, he was responsible for designing, installing, and managing professional audio and video production workstations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance across a wide range of multimedia projects.
